Andrew Finch

Executive Director
 

Andrew Finch has worked in the Tasmanian State Service for over 35 years and has held a range of positions including Deputy Secretary (Infrastructure) in the Department of Health, Deputy Secretary (Corporate Services) in the Department of Education, Director (Procurement and Property) at Treasury and Finance Manager at Tasmania Police.

Andrew also worked for the Tasmanian Government as Chief of Staff to the Treasurer and then Premier between 2018 and 2022 where he played a major role in the successful negotiation and establishment of the Tasmanian JackJumpers NBL team and progress of AFL and AFLW teams for Tasmania as well as the successful management of COVID-19 in Tasmania from the commencement of the pandemic in March 2020.

Andrew is now Executive Director (Major Stadiums) in the Department of State Growth, overseeing stadium developments of $1.0 billion at Wilkinsons Point, UTAS, Dial Park and Macquarie Point.
