Leading in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Leading Projects, People and Decisions in AI-Enabled Environments
Practitioner Workshop
About the Workshop
AI is now embedded in how projects are planned, monitored, reported, and governed. For leaders, this changes what is expected of them, how decisions are made, and how accountability is exercised.
This is a practical leadership workshop for decision-makers, sponsors, and business leaders who already understand AI fundamentals and now need to lead effectively when AI informs decisions, pace, and outcomes. Rather than focusing on tools, this course focuses on how leadership itself must evolve. It explores how leaders maintain judgement, accountability, trust, and value realisation in AI enabled delivery environments.
This course builds on and is intentionally distinct from AI for Project Managers, which focuses on practitioner capability and delivery execution. This workshop focuses on the leadership layer where decisions are made, risks are owned, and value is realised and can be taken as a stand alone leadership module or within a broader leadership development pathway.
Workshop ID: MC29
Why This Workshop Matters
Many organisations have moved beyond asking, “What can AI do?”
Leaders are now being asked harder questions:
- Who is accountable when AI informs decisions?
- How do we maintain trust, transparency, and assurance?
- How do we stop AI initiatives stalling at pilot stage?
- How do we lead people through faster, more complex delivery environments?
AI does not remove the need for leadership. It raises the standard for it. This workshop addresses the leadership gap that often emerges after AI capability is introduced but before leadership practices, governance, and decision making have adapted to support responsible, effective delivery.
