Building on the learnings from the highly popular Foundations in Project Leadership, this 2-day workshop does a deep dive into the influencing strategies needed when leading performance in a project team and managing crucial conversations with stakeholders.

Project managers are often faced with unclear lines of reporting and authority with team members, yet still need to delegate, follow up and give feedback on performance tasks. Effective skills to delegate, provide operational feedback and to lead performance will ensure a smoother path to achieving the high-performance in project teams.

This workshop also develops skills to manage difficult conversations, to work with approaches to hot and cold conflict, and to use emotional intelligence to build (or rebuild) rapport to achieve better outcomes.

Learning outcomes

  • Critical examination of your own leadership style by becoming aware of your strengths and the areas that need development
  • Understanding of motivation and the fundamentals of influencing
  • Effectively delegating tasks when faced with a range of barriers and skills
  • Delivering feedback that enhances performance
  • Having high-stakes conversations and managing conflict
  • Creating a team culture that builds higher performance
