Speakers

Natalia Anderson

 

Natalia Anderson is a Town Planner based in Canberra working for Gyde Consulting as an Associate Director-Capital Region. She is the 2024 Planning Institute of Australia’s (PIA) ACT President. She specialises in planning consultancy, development applications, environmental assessments, and community consultations across Canberra, the ACT, and NSW. Natalia has a notable background in Aviation and has managed planning and environmental management on Federally Leased Airport Land at both Canberra and Western Sydney International Airports.

Natalia has been recognized for her contributions as the National Young Planner Director for PIA from 2018 to 2020 and was honoured as the 2017 PIA ACT Young Planner of the Year. Her leadership roles include serving as Convener of the PIA ACT Division Young Planners Committee (2016-2018), Vice President of the PIA ACT Divisional Committee (2018), and a dedicated committee member across various PIA divisions.

Natalia was born in Poland and raised in England, spent a year of her degree in Canada and now has spent 10 years in Australia, truly an international human! She lives at home with her husband Paul, miniature dachshund Dobby and two Cats Luna and Lucius.
