A risk management technique you can immediately use on your projects
Most projects have a budget and schedule, yet many are delivered late and over budget. Why? The primary reason is risks become issues. Therefore, if we want to improve our project success rate, we can prioritize project risk management practices. Dr. Skulmoski presents a simple risk management technique to quickly develop cost and duration estimates in conditions of uncertainty, like a cybersecurity-threatened business environment with a race to post-quantum cryptography. Risk management is a critical success factor outlined in Greg’s book Shields Up: Cybersecurity Project Management (2022).

Greg Skulmoski is an award-winning project manager having led critical infrastructure projects in Australia, Middle East, and Canada. Greg’s innovative use of project management tools and processes won the CISO 2017 Middle East Security Award (for risk management in digital transformation projects). Dr. Skulmoski currently teaches risk management and project innovation management at Bond University in the Faculty of Society and Design, in Australia and has written a trilogy of cybersecurity project management books.
