Panel Discussion - Women Leading in High-Risk and Complex Environments

The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM™) invites you to a timely and thought-provoking event exploring what it really takes to lead in high-risk, complex, and traditionally male-dominated environments.

Offered as part of AIPM’s Women in Projects Network (WPN) initiative, and taking place in the lead-up to International Women’s Day, this conversation will move beyond theory to focus on lived experience, leadership under pressure, and the realities of decision-making where outcomes truly matter.

The session will be moderated by Sam Pedram, Chair of the AIPM Board of Directors, and will feature a panel of distinguished leaders with deep experience across complex delivery environments. Together, they will share practical insights on credibility, authority, risk, resilience, and shaping culture while delivering results.
